FAQ
I work individually with each of my clients to understand the look they are going for. Sometimes this takes a few back and forths to achieve. I'm very open to feeback. I really don’t mind taking the extra time up front, because I genuinely want you to be happy with your finished images.
Over the years I've learned that the individual needs of each photographer can vary a lot. For example - I don't set a flat price for an exposure merge because some of my clients require HDR merging of just three exposures, and others need twelve exposures with ambient and flash shots manually blended which could take 10x longer. Or for a day to dusk image, some clients supply me with one daytime image, and some send me 30 files where the flash is moved around in each shot and I need to manually blend the files. Sooo what I'm trying to say is I don't have a simple answer for this question BUT I'd love to connect, learn more about your specific needs, do a sample or two for you, and give you a quote.
I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the U.S. but I work with clients all over the world.
Yep that’s me you’ll be stuck with (Zoe Olson). I work full time editing and managing Zolson Retouching. I do take vacations but am very communicative when giving my clients a heads up well before I leave.
Yes I use various ai software as a “tool”. I do not rely solely on it as there are still many quality issues. Generative ai in Photoshop is pretty good at removing smaller items but quite often it still leaves small issues that I need to fix using manual editing tools. If I am adding new objects to an image and need to run the full image through ai software outside of Photoshop, I take those newly generated objects and mask them back into the original image. This avoids all of the texture artifacts & quality reduction that ai causes. My goal: When you or your client zoom into the final image there are no signs of editing.
Funny you should ask! nope, I do it all. If your company also needs head shot retouching & background replacement I can do that. If you have a product that needs to be incorportated into a scene for a lifestyle shot I can do that too. Samples of that type of editing are on my www.izzyimages.com website.
I will send you an invoice once the work is complete. You have 14 days to pay the balance. I accept Venmo, Zelle, Direct Deposit, & Pay Pal.
